Working side by side with the Nevada Department of Transportation – District III (Elko) office, A.M. Engineering was contracted to perform design services per the NDOT Design Guidelines in order to successfully obtain an NDOT Occupancy Permit. The permit specifics accepted the design of over 1 mile of lane widening and ADA Access facilities Located north of Carlin, NV on Highway 766.
Also included in the NDOT requests included a Hydrologic Report identifying the effects of the proposed improvements on the State Highway. A.M. supplied a report which not only identified the impacts on the state route but also the mitigation measures placed in the design to accommodate such impacts.
Also included in our scope of services was to perform Jack and Bore design in order to achieve Sanitary Sewer and Water Distribution mainline extensions from the highways easterly side. Such extensions are part of an effort to allow the development to tie into the existing municipal system.
